Here is a few pictures of the clio I bought last week, a few teething problems at first ie the non starting issue which needs sorting asap, got a chap looking at it at lunch time.
Also the front bumper isn't lined up , seems to be hanging down on drivers side?? Is this a case of taking off and putting back on correctly?
Front fogs dont work at all, the light comes up on the dash ok but nothing up front, from the mot history looks like they have been like that since 2008. Easy fix or ball ache??
Drivers door central locking doesn't work but rest of the car locks do, locks with the key but not on the button, would like to get this fixed too, is this a motor in the door?
Another niggle is the clutch is noisy but if i just slightly push the pedal down the noise goes, now I don't think is the release bearing as I'm only just touching the pedal so wouldn't think it was this although I might be wrong.Any ideas?
Everything else on the car is fine , the drive back was good, seemed to be lacking in power tho, has a piper x cone filter on that I want to change, what is the best setup? Standard airbox with panel filter.
Looked through the paperwork and has full service history to 72k, car is now on 78k but no evidence of a cambelt being done, so wanting to get it done but have read horror stories on here lol.
Also noticed that previous owner has spent a bit of money on suspension,wheels and exhaust which is why it handles like a go kart, apex shocks and springs on the back and spax adjustable on the front. Massive 17's which im still unsure about, they do look good, might get them refurbed in same colour with renault centers.
One thing I will change is the power-flow exhaust , he has put a centre section and rear box on which sounds nice around town but on the motorway was ear bleading lol.
