right, i posted a thread about this about a week ago and got no proper answers so no i have a pick for help

the question - What do i need to buy to connect my laptop to my tv?

the yellow will most likely be S-video out....unless its a pretty high spec it might me S-video in&out.......get an S-video-TO-scart lead.......plug them in, then go into display properties on your laptop and enable the 2nd/external display (Then you may need to play with resolution settings on the 2nd/external display to get it looking right, its in the display settings also)
