hi,

just joined on here (paid member) after a while of trawling through the free stuff. at the moment i have a 1.0 ecoboost red edition, fairly modified.
I am looking to get rid sometime soon as im fed up paying through the roof for the finance and want a cheaper car i can play around with more. A 182 ticks thses boxes perfectly with the bonus of it being faster/better :)

i will be looking to spend 2 maybe 3 grand at a push. i would love a trophy but i dont think i would be able to go upto the prices tidy ones go for.

any pointers with what to look for when buying one. i woud love one in the light blue they come in (non metallic one)

cheers! :)

Welcome to CS mate.

Always check for the belt history - it's all you'll hear about on here.

Make sure it's done by a reputable specialist and find out when it was done.

Welcome along, I've moved this into Clio discussion as you'll get a better response.

Good luck with the hunt, as Typhoon said;

- buy on condition and service history, not mileage.

- make sure you test drive it before you buy

- look to buy from a member off here, as the cars tend to be better looked after / you can see their history on here.

The blue you're talking about is Racing Blue, commonly referred to on here as RB. It is a desirable colour to some so demands a slightly higher price at times.
