Clio, ST170
Hi, my names Louis im from Rochdale and I recently bought a 2002 (51plate) Clio 1.2 16v Dynamique for a low price.
We wanted a cheap to run second car and iv always liked the look of the face lifted mk2 clio so lots of searchin and I got this:
For its age, money and milage the car is very tidy, im happy with it but iv had a few issue with it mis firing and going into limp mode with that stupid electrical incident light coming on so yesterday I changed the sparkplugs and coilpack (leads attached which was new to me lol) and the car is running fine now although the light has popped on now and then so im gonna assume its the lambda sensor??
Im a Ford man usually as my other car is a Focus ST170 and I have a mk3.5 fiesta Si stored at my dads (probably rotting away) but im enjoying the Clio, for a 1.2 its not bad and the MPG is great.
I plan to keep the car standard, just getting running the best it can be, I may get some wind deflectors for it but other than that nothing major.
