Hi, I saw that too, thought it was a cup at first, only a 1.2 so cheap insurance

Yeah looks like a CUP, and its even an older phase.

Looks pretty decent that for a 1.2

Watch the insurance though as for all its a 1.2, its hevaily modified with alloys, lowering, exhausts, colour coding etc. You will have to declare all this with your insurance otherwise your policy will be invalid when it comes to making a claim. You cant just say I thought all 1.2s were like that.

Looks like Cup Mondial blue. Always wanted to see a mk1 in that colour. Smart.

Does the phase II rear boot lid fit quite easily on a phase I or would they of had to modify the car much?

Same with the bumper too

Er, no it doenst:

The clio was once owned by a performance tuning centre who carried out the work for a DEMO car. They fitted the cup wings,bumpers,side skirts and roof spoiler it was then re-sprayed in metalic pacific blue.

LoL, I like how theyve done all that work but not put phase 2 rear lights on it.... shame as that would really make people have to think about what it actually was (and they look better imho)

Nice first car. Although to be complete it needs a rear 172 bumper (always a coupe of ebay) and the mk2 lights.Wheels are wrong to and the twin pipes are w**k too imo.

thanks for your coments on the car! i realy do want it but depends how much the guy wants for it n when hes going to reply to my email aswell! if i do get it they will be changes! twin pipes on back are coming off then im putting a 182 interior complete with dash board in!as i dont like the mk2 dash boards!also putting mk2 lights on!

Just to clarify, this is a Mk2 Phase 1, so youll be putting in mk2 Phase 2 stuff in/on

i really like that car, if i saw it i could be fooled into thinking it was a cup (apart from its a mk2 ph 1) the r reg plate gives it away.


id deffo check though to see if had any accidents etc (a common reason for a respray) apart from what they say about it being a demo car (ppl do lie- it could be i cover up )
