Hi, just bought an '03 Clio 172 and very pleased so far touch wood 
. Having been a jap car man for the last few years I decided time for a change and ended up buying a burgundy red 172 (forgive me for not knowing colour names etc) and I will hold my hands up and admit I have always been one to slate french cars although I got the 'jap crap' treatment back from my mate who owns a 182. On the drive home I gave it a few beans and I must say I was expecting to be disappointed having gone from a 350bhp 180sx to one of these but it put a smile on my face as soon as we got onto some of the quiet lanes with a few bends in them, it is really good fun! I am about to sign up as a member as I don't know much about these cars and would like to gain some knowledge off some of the guys in the know and hopefully make some new friends and become part of the community.
