HID problem

hiya guys i fitted my hid's in today and have come accoss a serious problem. as you can see from the pic the lights are different colour. They should both be the bright white and not the greeny blue. basically i had trouble with that bulbs from the start. when i first fitted it it would come on for one sec and then switch off, and it kept doing it. i took the bulb out of the holder to check contacts were ok and it all seemed fine, put the bulb back in and hey presto it worked.

i tried the dodgy bulb on the working side and it works fine, no greeny crap so would the problem lie in the powerpack???

I'd say so, probably not providing full voltage so the arc isn't as intense so you get the dimmer cooler light. Which kit is it out of interest ?

the kit is off ebay mate, seller is from here. i have contacted him and said its the powerpack but even if he sends me another one ill still have the same problem right?

he also sent me a battery harness seperate which isnt needed to use with the kit. i installed this same kit on my mates lexus is200 and it worked fine!

Well if the powerpack is faulty then swapping it should sort it out. So a replacement one should be fine for you.

can you swap powerpacks to double check? It could be the starter.

will try swapping the powerpacks tomorrow, i connected the greeny bulb to the good side and it worked fine. will probz double check all the wiring aswel
