High rpm vibration

My mk2 RSi 1.6 16v has a problem where it is vibrating at high revs through the whole car, more so under my feet. I’m assuming it’s something driveshaft related because of where it’s coming from, but the vibration only happens between 4.5k-5k revs and if I’m above or below that the vibration stops. I’ll also add the driveshafts were both replaced with the clutch last year and all gearbox and engine mounts are less than a year old. I can’t remember when it started as I don’t rev it this high very often, I’ll take a video later today if I can so it’s easier to see what’s happening but can anyone shed some light on it who may have had a similar issue or knows what it is?

Cheers, Dan.

Sounds like the downpipe hitting the subframe to me form what you've described. Manifests as a thumping vibration near your left foot.

New engine mounts time.

It’s definitely not the downpipe, I’ve got solid exhaust mounts so there is little to no movement and as mentioned in the post all the engine and gearbox mounts are less than a year old and each showing no signs of wear at all. I was thinking it could be a misaligned cv joint?
