Heardto get best out of cams really need head work done but more knowledgable persons like BenR should be able to confirm this.

spoke to hillpower the other day and they reckon the piper cams make quite a difference.

  2005 Nissan Navara

they compliment each other, but do work on their own i.e. they both increase flow through the head

You dont have to get headwork, the cams will work on their own.

But, consider that roamer is making 212bhp on std cams, its the std inlet manifold, and part port work which is restricting the power make on the plenham. So headowrk and manifold work would compliment it greatly.

Oh, and BTW, i charge 457.

I have no idea on that spec, never seen it in action or heard of it.

im not into all this Grp N crap, since it means standard! lol

i think hillpower said that the renault group n use the same inlet cam its just the exhaust cam thats different.

Still, grpN items are rather pathetic.

Chassis wise its grea stuff, but engine.....ZZzzzzzzzzz

Infact, in most cases GrpN rally cars can go a bit more mental with their chassis than GrpA which have tighter regulations iirc. I have a mate who has his scooby shell bent in a hydro jig to alter the pickup points. lol

he said you can get 2 types of cam kits from renault.group n where only the exhaust cam is different and another cam kit(used for something else)where both cams are different but they do gain you a lot of top end power.contact hillpower for full info.
