Hill Power IK or standerd air box

Just wanted opinions on the two Induction kits?

For a Valver that is:D

Any pics of the hill power would be nice;)

ive got one on my otherwise standard valver they look good and sound awesome!

i think the standard airbox works better for the performance side of things

i did have pics but ive lost them:(

Standard airbox, replacement element, and a cold air feed seems to be the best set up. Induction will give you plenty of noise, but lose you power. Ive got a standard box on mine with a K&N element and a cold air feed and it works very well.

Standard airbox will probably give you better launches off the mark as the theoretical benefits of having cool air rammed in at speed will not accrue at slow speeds (obviously!).

But as someone who spends most of their time ripping along clear A/B-roads in the early morning, Im sure it wont do me any harm to use an IK. You cant beat the noise on almost any other 4-cylinder engine and the Hill Power design is one of the best.

Im confused and torn betwwen the two:confused: On the other hand one is £30 and the other £55

HELP!!!

P.s. I live in Ilford and theres not many A/B-roads in that area, just friggen traffic!!

the Hill power kit sounds excellent, but ive ditched it in favour of a airbox wih 2 decent sized cold air feeds works alot better, sounds ok.

I cut a circle out the top of the airbox ( the bit facing the bonnet) and bought some flexible plastic ducting, ran one pipe into the hole and down through the hole below the headlight(its covered by a plastic cover) and another to replace the sh*te standard pipe underneath.

std airbox everytime

with a decent zorst u wont be losing too much noise anyway, my mate recently took his off coz it was just too boggy with the hot air and i still thought he had it on,

im usind std airbox and panel filter works best for performance THERE really is that much difference esp on a hot sunny day

is a performance car so why makem it go slower with ind kit
