I'm thinking about buying the induction kit available from hillpower http://www.hillpower.co.uk/ this is the kit for the 1.2 16V. Just wondering if anyone has any views or opinions on it.

Much help needed!

I have no experience with it, however it does look the biz and Nick knows his stuff going by everyone's comments so I doubt it'd be rubbish. :)

Is that a sealed unit? Or stainless steel cone?

I think its just a foam filter ?

Does anybody know if you get everything with it, the elbow, silicone pad things ?

I'd say it will suck up hot air from the rad whilst on the move......

dunno, mine is right across, directly where the filter sits?

1.2's probably have a smaller rad mind

Surely they would have thought of thought when desighning it otherwise they wouldnt have botherd with the elbow. Dont have a scoob about induction kits though lol.

There is a gap where the air flows thru the grill. You will need to remove a piece of plastic from the back of the grill and all will be fine. Hill Power stuff is well designed, I have one on my 172, looks very nice, sounds good and performs well. The outer is made from heat reflecting material like what Renault use on the exhaust manifold heat shield.

Thanks again Chris - a ledge on the induction

Looking at the website would I get everything pictured ? elbow, silicone etc
