hillpower intake bends

is there any benifit of getting one of these or are they just for styling

what do they do that the standard intake pipe doesnt do??

hmmmm wonder if its worth £50 odd quid, would be tempted if it improved induction sound, got a cheep piperX Viper so i just want things to sound nice really, will be removing the acoustic valve too soon enough, infact may to that at the weekend

If you have a piperX cone filter then removing the acoustic valve with do nothing mate. The acoustic valve iirc will only work when part of the OE sealed system. I may be wrong

As for sound the hillpower bend wont add to the sound at all. All it does is give a smoother airflow and therefore allows slightly more air into the throttle body.
