Hit by a bus - front panel cost

Hit by a bus, not happy at all especially as my car was in mint condition vefore it happened. The bumpers have scraping but i can deal with that. Im stuck with a passenger side front panel (a plastic one) cracked and scraped all along it.



So what can I do? Ive seen a front panel for about 40 quid, im guessing its cheap because its plastic, how much to get this sprayed and fitted?

Id go to a scrapy and look for a front wing etc.. then you dont have to mess about with getting it sprayed. If you get one from a scrappy.. it might not have been sprayed since the factory.. so thats double as good!

I guess, altho dunno what the odds of getting a green front panel are as there dont seem to be many about. any ideas of cost? and are these front plast8ic panel easy to take off and bung a new one on?

OMG not u aswell lol. must be the time of the month for accidents! if you got hit by a bus - did u manage to get the drivers details etc? if u did, and it was his fault, then you should be able to claim againt the bus company, get it fixed for free & not lose ur ncd etc. failing that, a scrappy would b ur best bet, althou a new wing from renault is not actually that much (£40 odd). just painting costs etc bump up the price a bit!

Im being honest here so dont read it as me saying im guilty, but he had no damage and it was 2 lanes merging into one where no-one really have right of way, having said that, i slammed on my brakes and then he went into me, but also having said that, i believe u should give way to a bus.



guy refused to give me his address or the owners details, just his bus number and surname. i dont want to try and claim thru my own insurance, only for then to say the bus peeps wont pay up making me look like i caused it all.
