Hmmm who is good with partitioning external hard drives.. ?

  180.6Bhp 172 cup (cc)
Hi

I have tried to partition an external hard drive. I deleted the old partition, tried to use comp swiss to change from NTFS to FAT32 but wont work on vista (keeps crashing) i now cant see the drive when i plug it into computer to try and install a partition.
I am pretty rubbish on comps with this sort of thing so was hoping some one could give me a noobs guide to 1. be able to see the hard drive again when i plug it in and 2. re-partition it so to FAT32?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do it in windows disk management, it's probably unallocated space at the moment, just right click on it and hit new partition, choose the options then allocate the second partition as you need. Its normally quite easy.
