The clio 182 i have seen and left the deposit on is ready for me to collect. I contacted the insurance company to provide me with a insurance certificate to the car dealer to enable them to tax the car for me, to allow it to be released from the forecourt upon payment. I lose a month on the tax.

The cash is all sorted, nice little £10,599 as i managed to sell my old clio to the gfs parents for £3600...well worth £4300..so im a little . They said, well give you the p/x value on the car....If it went to the dealer i was gonna strip it bare, the cd player was coming out, the tax was coming off and the cheap rubbish bald tyres were going to replace the new ones fitted. Now ive been robbed....as they want to keep the tax and all..

I get a phone call from the dealer at 9-30am informing me that they cant release the car as the insurance certificate is not available. I contacted norwich union direct...aka (india call centre).....What is you surname....Can you spell smith..?....

Informed that if i wanted it i could drive to sheffield to collect it from the insurance brokers place...though i dont have a car...hmm.??? 2 hr drive there, 2 hr drive back.....me thinks not..

So, if the insurance certificate is not here tomorrow, im thinking about buying a £100 car, and considering spending the rest on me...

Got £3600 on my PC next to me. £7k to Switch upon arrival at dealership..

because they should be able to by car tax on there insurane

ive never had to give a car dealer a insurance certificate weather itas been a renault dealer or toyota or bmw dealerships they have always just gone and taxed the cars for me before i picked them up

and if you wait till tomorrow your tax will start in januray

You should not lose a months tax. I got the dealer to tax my new 182 for a year and 2 weeks. Did not cost me any extra.
