hold back on first start

Hi all

Like to say hello Andrew (midlands) evesham, as im new to the clio…. Just bought a 2000 clio sport 172,
Had one common fault with the service light and air bag, with the loss wire under the passenger car seat,
Just wondering if someone can help me:- very rare but sometimes when I start the car, (car starts fine with no problems) drive just down the road and the car starts to hold back (loss of power), but if you rev it then drive on the car drives normal, will be fine all day long, today when driving the car was sound and then in 3rd was a moment of holding back power loss then its ok again, first time its done this when driving.
Just wondering if someone can help or had a problem like this??

It's the engine. Runs lean when cold, they all do it.

Search on here for 'lumpy when cold' (or variations on the theme). It's asked all the time.

Edit: Most do it lol.

aye my ph1 never did it but my ph2 does,
tho its fine above 3k revs
