Holding back

Hi,

Im new here and i currently own a ph1 172 (not a cup) the problem im having is the car feels like its holding back, ive checked lambda sensor and that seems "ok" is there anything else it could be? Basically if im driving with fuel economy in mind and very light on the throttle it feels like the car is slowing down, perhaps this is normal? Any help would be much appreciated

Ahh ok thanks, i get people asking me if its a cup lol and ye it does splutter but only when its cold

I'd recommend a diagnostics machine check. It will tell you what error codes and faulty sensors are causin you the problem.

Would the EML come on if there was an issue or do some sensors go under the radar? Dont get me wrong it has a strong pull when you put your foot down but im sure it should still pull harder
