A few shots of my mates DC2 from yesterday after he gave it a good clean.

I really prefer the uk ones to the jdm ones. I love the front of them.

I might have to give in in a minute and buy one when I sell the van. See what all the fuss is about.

Looks a tidy example, however whoever is responsible for emptying several cans worth of silicone spray over the dash and interior trims wants hanging.

Looks a cracker. Still a car I'd like to at least give a good thrashing, despite not being a fan of VTEC.

Has the front bumper had a respray recently? Might be the light, but it seems a slightly different shade to the front wings?

Not that I know of, I think it is just the light.

I was either going to get a DC2, 200sx or a 182 and I went for the Clio in the end. At times a do wish I'd bought one of the other cars. I like the JDM front end over the uk spec one.

I'd noticed it but didn't feel it warranted mention, same with the painted valve cover. I guess the volume of modded Honda's I look at means it's not uncommon in my eyes. US owners mainly seem to like extended and/or cranked shifters, not to my taste personally but each to their own and easily swapped back.

The only spec' available in the UK was 98 onwards..which had a shorter ratio box than the earlier JDM spec' cars, the S80 AFAIK.

Personally wouldn't say it could be classed as beautiful. It's a good looking thing, but the only jap car I can think of as beautiful is the rx7.

Stunning in every sense, can look special without being overly fussy aswell.

Ok, yeah I guess beautiful's a little strong. They're very, very good looking.

IMO, an FD RX-7, R35 GT-R and NSX are beautiful though. I'll stick by that. The GT-R is, in it's own manga-influenced, ninja kinda way. Love them.

DC5s are stunning cars. The one sat next to the EK9 sounds immense. Spoon N1 with a supersprint b-pipe and an AEM...

Lol @ Beautiful! An Alfa 8C or a Vantage is beautiful...A DC5 is a mutt in comparison! Look 100% better with the spoiler thats for sure...

The one we had in I posted some pictures off was getting around 15mpg around town and lower. He does drive like a maniac though.
