Hot hot heat

Had anyone noticed a drop in performance during this hot weather?

yes, not all the time though, but slower pick up

Ive noticed increase mpg. Odd because I thought it was better with cold air.

Maybe the car warms up quicker, I dunno.

Yeah Ive noticed a slight drop Ive got an cone induction kit, great for noise, just sh*t when its hot out

Its an obvious comment, but Ive had a noticeably worse mpg lately due to having to use the climate control to stop myself melting. Guess performance will have suffered as well when the aircon is blowing, but havent actually noticed it.

In cold conditions the air is denser and creates more of a charge in the induction system producing more power.

So cold air and optimax = more BHP

In this weather the car will feel noticebly less responsive

yeah i noticed its dropped abit might be the 20C heat and the fact i drive everywhere with my ac on mini!!

been out in my 33bhp polo this evening instead of the cup. Is "sure" deodrant supposed to work in this heat? if u want a drop in BHP then this it!!!!!!!!! Good for taking thing to the tip though, seein the clio was lovely cleaned this afternoon
