best site Ive ever seen was by a company called Dennis Interactive, this was done in the very very early days of flash before it was mainstream... now everyones doing it, I dont think they're in business anymore tho

i dont like all the things changing to one solid colour on rollover.
maybe make the box black and white or sumthing on rollover, IMO the solid box colkour looks amateur.

b) the "BWDesigns - Web-Sketch " bit is invisible next to the copyright
c) I could knock that up in minutes
The design looks alright but not sure on the colours of the roll overs, be consistent.
Sorry if i sound harsh I write database driven web apps professionally for the largest telecommunications provider in the country...

a) there doesnt have to be content, i have another site for that bw-online.

c) I knocked it up in 10, im only 19 just starting web design and graphic design, and I find little sites that I do really interesting.

Im not knocking you we all start somewhere!
Look into coding
Then you can start doing really cool stuff like getting a server side programming language like c# to dynamically write a client side programming language like JavaScript with a mix of Css to create on the fly DHTML.
I could give you some sites to read if you’re interested.

Look at using JavaScript to manipulate Css in clientside code, then look at something like C# for server side code which you can use to actually write the clientside code. I'll try and find you some links for good reading material.

should have seen the client list of dennis interactive they did all the cool sites for all the top companies years ago.. think the owner retired or something at a young age LOL!
I know it sounds abit ghey but JavaScript for dummies isn't too bad it will teach you about the DOM and CSS and get you started on clientside code which is a great place to start to learn cool effects, then you'll see the limmitation of clientside code and need something more powerful like serverside code, I started with ASP 3.0 but once I moved to .Net it blew my mind with the endless power! But start simple, you seem to have a good grip on CSS so learn how to dynamically manipulate the styles and use events and progress from there
