Just seen your other post, you need to run the engine just let it tick over maybe give it a little touch on the throttle cable nothing toooo hastey from cold when running keep checking to see if both the pipes (top and bottom of rad) get warm and youve got hot air into the cokpit its fine done and dusted.
Well no you dont for a hose change but if its a browny muddy colour then yeah its adviseable, ok well take off the bottom hose off the rad and empty the rad and engine of coolant (lowest pipe) then conect lowest pipe back on, replace hose that your changing fill up coolant following antifreeze guidelines (dont need much as its summer) and then run till your getting warm air into your cokpit and until the pipes are warm and your fan kicks in, then everything is a-ok!
