How do I empty the coolant

Got a 1.4RT and Im not sure how to empty the coolant. Added som Rad Flush to help clean it out but I cant find any drainage point. Is it a case of just taking the hoses off?

I would say find the hose closest to the bottom and undo that.

Yup just take bottom hose off and let it drain out.

When ur all done be carefull when u refill etc... using rad flush on an older car may cause holes to open up and leak !!!

Normally a drain bung on the bottom of the rad but its quicker and easier to pull off the bottom hose. If you do get a leak as a result of the rad flush DO NOT use radweld or similar to try and patch it up, that stuff is for bodgers only.

I decided to clean out the coolant coz I got a leak the other day (just as I arrived in Blackpool). Got a replacement pipe from Renault for £30 all in so not so bad. Better than I was expecting (it was the metal pipe that ruptured not a rubber one).
