How do I make the DCI Electronic PAS rack switchable? i.e. on or off via a switch.

I'm sure it was somewhere on this forum that I read someone had rigged the DCI rack so that they could switch it on and off? I've just installed the 1.5 DCI rack on my car mainly because I have ditched the hydraulic PAS to gain some horses and i'm using it for track. BUT it would also be nice to be able to switch the power steering off and on at will!

Is it possible to just pass a specific current through the pins on the electronic rack via a switch to achieve this? or is it more complicated.
