Disconnect the battery and walk away for half an hour. Turn wheel 90 degrees one way and undo the torx bolt (I think!!) behind. Rotate steering wheel 180 degrees the other way and undo the other bolt. The airbag will then pull forward. Think there are 2 connectors to unclip from back of airbag, it's been a while.
Take care and make sure you've given the airbag enough time to discharge.
Clips on the back not torx bolts, jam a screw driver in there and ul see what needs to happen, can be quite hard took me the best part of 10 minuets to get it off.
Bolts would be so much easier, if you don't get the clips off correctly on one half when u spin the wheel and try to do the other side the other pops back in to place !
