How do i remove this ???

I need to remove this diamond from the backing and was wondering is it just stuck on with glue, is it hard to remove ???

That's how i broke my last one

Get the bootlock off, scrape the lumps of glue off underneath then prise it off carefully, or something along those lines

i think its plastic welded on via the clips. i just took the whole bootlock unit off and masked up the rest just leaving the diamond to paint

No I didnt break any of my lugs so it just popped back in and stays there. I even popped it off over the weekend to spray it again and popped it back on without using any glue (you hear it snap back into place)...

I just went out now and popped it off with a screwdriver and put it back on... stays on fine .

Although I would suggest maybe a little bit of hot glue from a glue gun as I dont want yours to fall off when your going along!

The 2 that I have seen have needed the plastic parts that have melted cutting off.
