Hello guys, happy Easter.
I just removed the tank from my track car as long as rear beam and kinda everything as I want to tidy up the underside, get a nice paint and so on.
Well.. after removing the tank I noticed that foam pad sticked to it (which goes between it and the chassis floor where the rear bench is.
The foam itself is in awesome shape but the black wrapping is just disintegrated..
I searched here but didn't find so much beside someone who faced same issue.
My question is more about what's that thing there for? Beside sound insulation which don't matter as I already removed all the tar and insulation.
Should I bother replacing it or can I trash it?
