How do i restore factory settings on PC.

I have a sony vaio media centre thing. Im selling it to my brother tomorrow.
I have backed up all of my stuff onto a usb hard drive but i want to be sure i have cleared everything?

any ideas how?

To recovery your Sony computer using the hard drive recovery, press F8 when starting your computer.
Choose the Repair Your Computer Option.

Or choose your model and see which yours does.

Reinstall windows is the easiest way really.

there should be an option in the programs, to create recovery disks, or if its a laptop have a recovery partion as matey above said try the f8 key at boot up, or f5 or f11 or f12
