How do I stop a MBP rebooting on a start up error

  Clio 172
Hi guys,

Does anyone know how to stop Mac OS X rebooting when it throws up an error on start up?

I got a problem with my MBP at the moment where it boots up hits and error then restarts itself and then boots up fine.

I've tried a "verbose" start up but the machine restarts so quickly I don't get a chance to find out the error its throwing up.

Does anyone know where I can set the system to not reboot on error so I can find out this error?

Cheers
Al
