hi my hairdresser (nice lady) has borrowed a 172 for a few weeks. nothing wrong with that but she lives in a fairly dump area and only pays £250 a YEAR in insurance ?!? how do peeps do it, she is 37 like and a woman but still its a GRP16 car ! my bro is 22 grp8 vrs fabia diesel and its through greenlight and still £1200 he was paying £2200 with NU at 21 on a grp 8

im 27 drive a cup (ok so grp17) and have full NCB with Aflux and pay £580 a year !? dont have any fancy extras on that although it is modified i thought that was good, ive had a 172MKII non cup with norwich union at £500 a year when i parked it in a drive in a better area but £250 is like only £80 more than my road tax ! only £20 a month mine like £60`ish

maybe i should change sex on register but keep my genitals

Apparently beat any quote providing you have 4 years NCD but theybeat it by like 2p or something. Insurance is a cúnt. If I insure my car at my mums house, it is £200 dearer than if I insure it at my dads. Hence it's insured at my dads!

I pay £650 for a FF182 and I'm 27 full NCB 3 points. Decent postcode too.

Ignore the over twenty five thing cause it didn't make a bit of difference to me, i've got full NCB and it's still £600 with adrian flux and mods.

alright for some, my insurance company wont even insure me on a saxo vtr until i'm 21... only until january for that, need to be 25 for a 172!!!! can get it elsewhere but its like £2200 and £400 deposit which I cant afford.

Often it's proffesion, eg. to insure the 172 is cheaper for me as a company director than the wife as a cvil servant, however she is a lot cheaper than a blue collar worker eg. plumber, joiner etc.

yea its a really decent price but £250 is like nothing over a year decent headunit price. my postcode is now shite however as left hand side of street is all council and right is all privatley owned bonus was though i didnt have to pay stamp duty on my mortgage due to the area (which isnt actually bad just loads of annoying kids) so a saved £2500 on that !
