the dash on a 16v clio to get to the back of the clock faces, need to get to speed and tacho.

isnt it just the five torx bolts at the back side of the screen and the give it a good yank?

Ben,

There are 5 torx screws holding the top half of the dash in, you then need to remove the steering column shroud, you can now undo the the 4 torx holding the dials in place, 2 at the top and 2 at the bottom, then struggle your arse off trying to free the speedo cable!

lol mat, got it in one, i went mental with the speedo cable, drove around for ages with just a speedo cos i couldnt get the whole b*****d thing off!

well... striped my trashed valver. Tooked me 2h to get the dash out without cuting the wires.

Had to take coffee brakes every 15min or it would be valver dashboard salad.

i need to get a signal tapping from the tacho and possibly the speedo, if it has one. otherwise i gotta install a pulse convertor
