How does the windscreen/door pillar trim ?

As people on here probably know i'm away to fit oil gauges in my 2002 172ff.

I was going to be mounting them in a pillar mounted pod, but wandered how i remove the pillar trim from the pillar that runs between windscreen and drivers door ?

Does anyone know ?

Is it clipped on ?

Or screwed somewhere ?

Clipped on, yank it off

Pull the seal away from the body and you should be able to see under the trim to see where its clipped into the body. Once you've unclipped it just yank it up away from the dash.
