How does this work





Its the same as the Launch Control from Fastchip! Whenever you put the clutch down it limits the revs to a set amount with your accellerator pressed right down!

ie hold you right foot to the floor all the time and just shift normally!

Those are not really a great idea unless you have a sequential box without syncronisers (dog).

The ignition is cut when the gear shifter is moved, but as Ben said, you are looking at around twice the shift time on a normal box by the time the sycronisers have semi-engaged the next gear. With dog engagement the next gear is straight in as fast as you can pull the lever.
 


On dog box you dont need one, just use the limiter, hold pressure against the lever and itll slam in no probs.

WHy twice as long.....well, having seen the systems work, its pish. sounds like a lazy tractor change.
 


brilliant for killing turbos and exhaust seats.

The reason it reduces lag is because the fuel passes through raw then burns in the turbo.
