Special tools are required for the rear brakes but the front pads are fairly straight forward.
If in any doubt, don't attempt the job. Your life and others maybe as risk if you botch the job.

Good advice there. In saying that though, get yourself a Haynes manual, should be easy enough to follow. If in doubt, buy the pads and get a reasonably priced garage to do it. My garage would charge an hours labour at the most, and that's about £50 including VAT, prices obviouskly vary depending on where you take it.
