How hot should my CPU be?

As title google is bringing too many different answers mostly in log files which i cant read lol

Does around 30 degrees sound good?

30 is pretty good, 60 is getting hot.

Depends on the chip but regardless of that 30 is fine. 70+ then worry

lol at 100c for a CPU. What sort of vcore are you pushing through that?? Is it Prime stable? Can't see it lasting very long.

Lasted 4 years so far. It's pretty normal for a Presario CQ60, the design was crap.

What chip are you running? As above though, 30 is perfectly fine, im currently idling at 28 on water, hits around 60C full load.

reason i ask is that the fans are doing a superb job of hoovering the dust up and dumping it inside the pc even though i don't have a case fan blowing in only out.

Apparently after a quick google the maximum thermal temp for that CPU is 73C, so 30C is fine, however idle temps mean near to nothing (unless its stupid high), you would need to run Prime95 as said above or such like to put your cores at 100% load to get a better idea of what its running at.

Yeh no that's still too hot. If its a Sempron it shouldn't exceed 95 under load

It's a Turion RM-72. It's common with these laptops.
