How long will they last...

Just got my car back from a service, all good, but I need to replace the pads all round within the next six months, so the garage man says.

He explained them as being 70% worn on the front, and 50% on the back, realistically how many miles am I looking to get out of them?

I've been looking at these from K-Tec, are these cheaper/better than the standard Renault replacements?

I get through a set of front brake pads every 3 months or so!
But I do rag the tits off the car and do a lot of very late braking TBH.
