How Low Can You Go

I've been looking into so lowering the car for sometime now..

After listening to whats been going on here, and there, and everywhere, i still am so confused as to what kit to go for?

I the look i am trying to achieve is that of say the Silver Clio on the other thread. On 40mm Apex.

However this is where i get a little confused?

I know there is so many different options out there in the market, and i really dont know what to go for?

I dont have a massive budget.. Ive looked at Coilovers but at the minute they are proving to be so expensive..

Can you get the same desired look just on springs? I didnt think it was possible? or am i under the illusion that only the adjustable coilovers can give you such a look.

Wondering if anyone would know or be able to point me in the right direction for a "good" set of whatever you recommend to do the job.

It might be worth mentioning that I Drive a 1.2 16V Dynamique.

mate for 40 mm u can get a set of springs for well under 100 quid

try any modification online store.

can get anything from 35 to 60mm on springs, most people on here vouch for the 60mm, eibach sportlines in particular

if your going 60mm you want to buy shocks too.. means your as well as paying a little bit more for the flexibility of adjustable coilovers

20quid for me but i expect the saveings will go on the incressed fuel duty so im not wining
