How much do you think its worth

Im really wanting to get a 172 asap but need to figure out how much ll need to save up to buy one (MK1 about £7000 or so).

Could I have some opinions on how much my car is worth at the moment

The rough spec is;

41000 miles, service history, all the usual "S" spec, 172 interior, alloys, remote central locking, twin airbags, fully sound deadend, couple of very small scratches and wee dins where other doors have hit it.

Also Id appreciate estimates with and without the ICE.

Yours is a slightly better spec and lower miles.

1.4 8v, all in good order. The ICE is worth about £1500. The car is pretty much unmodded except for official renault parts to improve it (172 interior, dynamique wheels). 4 brand new tyres on it as well. Anything else Ive forgotten? (I think Im too tired!)

looked like a sub and an amp 2 me not £1500s worth of ICE!

Sold mine with full bodykit and straight through exhaust for £5500 y-reg with 26k on the clock

Have you thought about contacting Torsion Tuning to get a quote on a Turbo Conversion seeing as youve spend all that money on it already matey!

Good headunit and good speakers all round. The amp is for the speakers and the sub is an active VIBE. I didnt actually pay that but for most people thats what it would cost if not slighty more!

You never really get much money back on mods though and Id have to uprate the brakes and suspension as well. Got my heart set on a 172 now as well!

So looks like i need to save about £3000, aaagh why did I become a student?!

mmmm I had full suspension kit and EBC brakes too mate, You should be fine, would sell the mods first though like interior to geordie paul and other bits seperately then sell the car standard if your not in a rush this will be the best way to make the money difference decrease

I got it off a member from here for a good price. I think they normally go for £400 to £500 at scrappies for perfect nick ones though.

I dont think Ill even bother lowering it now, Ill just save up for the 172.

Cant get a student loan! Im a nursing student so I get a £4500 bursary a year, sounds great but as Im working full time for 6 months of the year, only get a few weeks off a year and the rest of the time Im at uni I hardly have time for a job at all. Cos of the bursary Im sure I cant get a loan, bugger!
