How much faster

How much faster does your 172/cup feel after its run in?

What milage do you guys think it will develop its quoted power.

In the hand book it says you wont expect reasonable power until after 1500 miles.

Your thoughts???

When I had my 172 I complained lots about it not getting far enough up the top end. After about 2k miles there was no problems. After that it just seemed a totally super car, improving with every new mile.

Yes, but you can still enjoy the car until then. My 172 was starting to feel quicker by about 10000 miles so its a gradual thing that you will probably notice and be able to take advantage of...
