How much for a cambelt change on a valver???

I got charged £250 for the kit (i.e the belt and pullies). But I then threw the belt out and used the uprated Piper Cams belt from K-Tec.

But yeah, I'd say between £200-£250 is the going rate.

I think stan means to fit just the belt, without doing the tensioners etc. Stan does fit them and has a good reputation. Definately worth taking it to a specialist as otherwise it will cost loads to get done.

From experience don't fit a belt with no new tensioners! More likely to collapse when re-tensioned!

i just drove down the m4 to see a valver in readinf yesterday! and that was far enough! lol how long does it take to get to reading from where you are?

It used to take me about 3hrs to get from Barnet to Swansea, when I was working in Borehamwood.

I would say off the top of my head, an aux belt, alternator, and a water pump

I can supply all the parts, dont worry about that.

The cambelt, idler, tensioner, and aux belt I can do while you wait...
The water pump takes abit longer, and would be best left with me for a couple of days.
