How Much - For Compensation...

Right basically i had some 172 CUP Turinis on my car for a number of months, and in that time i had them sprayed anthracite at a cost of £64.

I took them off a few months back to put the 172 wheels id done with a red lip on, swapped the tyres and left the rims in the tyre room at work. Month or so later my boss asked everyone to move the wheels everyone had been storing - it wasnt just me - and either bin them or take them home, so i left them outside my bay door (we each have our own door to our own bay at work) I then was ill and had a few days off. When i came back, it turns out the parts manager had got one of his 'boys' to put them in the scrap, and the scrap man had taken them. A call to the scrap man later and they were returned, damaged and bent.

Now ive left it with my boss as to what he wants to do about it, without blowing my own trumpet im the highest earner in the workshop :rasp: and i earn him alot of money, so with anyone else he could've taken the whole 'they shouldnt have been there' route, but today hes said he'll pay for them, but he needs to know how much they're worth...

So, how much would a set of 4 Turinis in anthracite got for, without tyres, in unmarked condition. Note, these ARENT Trophy Turinins, just CUP ones sprayed

I would say that £100 per wheel isn't unreasonable, then you've got to decide how much you want for the emotional stress...

Get him to buy 4 brand new ones from Renault. If he's paying, MIIIIIILLLLKKKKK it.

I assume he'll hide it in the business finances somewhere, so it won't make a huge amount of difference if he has to pay £200 or £600 - may as well get Renault prices for Trophy wheels.
