Just phoned Renault up to check the price for my sunroof parts....almost had a flippin heart attack!

Sunroof Frame - £308.25
Electric S/R Motor - £233.55
S/R Switch - £23.50

Add £150+ for fitting and it comes to almost £750!

Breathing air on Reanult premesis - £453.23

Incompetancy surcharge - £1154.67



I think that Renault employ wannabe stand up comedians to answer their phones, hence the comical quotes people always seem to get.

The price for the parts include VAT, and I would have got it fitted somewhere else - Renault would probably want twice that to fit it!

Ive been told because the frame is plastic, it will bend when you take it out of another car, so youd only end up putting in an already knackered frame.
