How to change cambelt thread!

Hi, I have been searching this fourm for a "how to" on changing the cam belt and dephaser. I have changed a couple of cam belts before but never on a clio and I was wondering what the tricks to doing it or the not to do were. I know there is a lot of info on cambelt changes and when they should be done Etc but there should be a stickey thread on how to change the belt!! I am wondering how long it's going to be till someone says buy a Haynes manual ! Any info would be great cheers Joe!

Best bet is to take it to a specialist mate. It's not a simple job on a clio, and also you need the correct timing tools which are about £120 I think!

Firstly, welcome to the club.

Their is ways of finding the repair manuals online, search dialogy and you should be able to find something, or email paprika.

Also, theirs no such thing as a 172 ff
