How to make things light up for a few seconds

For the electrically minded, could anyone tell me how to light up one of the lights on the dash for a few seconds and then go out again on the turn of the key??

All the LED's behind the dials are on a PCB so it wouldn't be easy.

Which 'light' you after?

Isn't there a test mode for the dials, etc?

if I remember right to do the dash light test, hold in the button on the end of the wiper stalk and then turn the ignition 2 clicks

anyone know if each warning light is fed by its own wire in the plug on the back of the cluster? Or is a bus type affair is used?
