How to remove the gear knob

I need to know how to remove a 2002 1.2 gear knob - my wife went mad and bought a load of bits for her car at Trax, and now Ive gotta fit em.

Yeah, but does it twist or pull off?? Will I do any damage to the leaver if it get a big pair of grips on it?

its meant to twist off i think, but u can like saw to the centre of it if ya get me, the rubber, and rip it off, bout the only thing tight on that car

hacksaw is way foward! cut it down the middle and then prise it apart, the gear knob that is

ive said it once and ill say it again. get a wee knife, cut the leather/rubber off...then a big pair of mole grips and it will come of with one pull...you lot are far too quick to saw

can i do that with a 98 old shape it has lift up reverse (dont know if newer ones have) I dont wanna make a p**s up of it.

shop said that my gear knob ive bought will fit lift up reverse
