hi guys. i hope someone will find this useful.
yes OEM plastic gaiter is better. but they are hard to find. and in my opinion, good quality stretch boots hold just as well.

As you say in the video, much easier doing it with the driveshaft off the car. I've done a stretchy boot twice whilst on the car and it's a pain to do, especially with the grease going everywhere!

Easy to do! Use s**t tons of brake cleaner then to slide the boot down use a microfibre cloth wrapped around it so it doesnt slip.
