How to replace side lights?

As above, ive located the bulb from the back and think I twist it out? I thought it'd be simple but a reputable dealer told me the head light must be removed on a phase 2!?!?!?

Nonsense. Pull it and it'll pop out. If it doesn't, pull harder.
