HT leads....

Hi, my HT leads are getting on a bit now and i think they maybe origionals (98) thay are a bit stiff but look ok.
Should i get a continuity when i hook them up to a meter or should i not get anything?

Plus what symptoms would you get if Ht leads were old and knackard?

ive been lead to believe that if your ht leads are shot then your engine would be missfiring or if the leads are that bad they wont work at all. and price depends on what leads you get and where from mate

Just get standard ones from a local motorfactors mate

am i right in thinking there are no benefits from bosch to standards from motorfactors?

Dont get ripped off mate and buy the Renault ones. Renault want just over £100 for a set of HT leads. Give Deemon tweeks a ring and they will sell you a set of Magnecore HT leads from £60 or so. They're made from better material,as for power gains i would'nt expect anything.
