HU help!

just bought a Hu off here off b3nje and fitted it all fine but then nothing happens on the facia:S the cd goes inand out fine so there is power but thats all that happens any help would be great

double check all the wiring for any damage, theres not much room behind the HU so they do get trapped/broken easily.

Make sure the HU does not require any special power by means of additional wiring etc...

RESET the HU is possible (normally a small pin switch)

Follow anything in the manual that maybe of help.

IF no joy..............id say its fookered

Silly question but have you checked the fusebox?

is the earth and ignition meant to be 1 single wire? as there is 2 and justjoind togerther by tape, it worked for about 2 mins but then i tryed putting it in the car and now it wont work:S will i need a new wire loom?

the earth and ignition wires are the last two you ever want to come in contact with each other.

seperate them and put a new fuse as i guess you operated the radio one
