Thats stunning mate, not sure about the black Renault and Clio badges but other than that I love it! Turbo power will make things interesting!!

yeah badges are going smooth boot and bonnet one day lol but after spending aload on this engine it wont be anytime soon.
expecting 300 brake until boost is upped :D

300 bhp until the boost is upped?....Think those figures are abit unrealistic matey...
..my mates 1.8 16v valver turbo is running 250ish bhp at 15psi....

this has had a fair bit of work done to it and isnt just a bb tuning turbo jobby. as said it cost around 5k to build.

got some bits i want doing smoothed bonnet and boot, cage and harnesses to go with my new buckets witch aint in the pics. then it should be spot on :D

That neither is a BB tuning jobby and has had ALOT of work done to it...dont want to put a downer on it, as its an awesome machine and will be a work of art when its complete, i just think the figures youve aimed for are a little optimistic...and your going to be having to run about 3-4bar to achieve it...:?

Can I make a suggestion. MK1 Ph1 tail lights are so much cleaner, Just bought me a set for my upcoming project.

Mint heat shield BTW.

I've seen that throttle body adapter on most MK1 turbos, who makes em? that won't flow very well into the two butterflys in the body. You could easily do better.

lol. That's more pressure than in the tyres.
There are very very few cars that run anywhere near that kind of boost.

Garrett GT42R - running around 45PSi iirc, Can't find the figures now. 45psi=3.1bar

thats fair enough obviously i wont know what it makes till its been rolling roaded but with the spec i have a figure that it would hopefully reach tbh even 200 would do its just a case of wait and see. Hopefully a bigger turbo cams headwork standalone management along with alot more stuff will will help it get near that figure.

( sorry for that last comment. for some reason i was thinking a bar was 7.7 psi, not 14.7 lol!)

...i recon to acheive 300+ your looking at about 23 psi....

if i were you id aim for 200+ gradually building the boost up from 5psi upwards...
5psi will take it to about 180bhp...then when you gradually wind the boost up to about a bar...a bar and abit, maybe then you'l be abit more hopeful towards the 250+ barrier

future plans sound awesome too buddy :)

engine should take up to 30 psi but guy reckons i shouldnt need to go that high.

old engines going to a mate for his valver and gearbox is stayng with me sorry
