Hydraulic Clutch

Does the 172 have a hydraulic clutch?

I just assumed it did, but when I looked under the bonnet I could not see a master or slave cylinder anywhere, nor does it say anything about clutch fluid in the manual.

I cant believe it has a cable linkage though - its such a primitive design!

It must have a direct linkage of some sort.

Well its heavy enough to justify a direct linkage (mk1 Im thinking of)

cable....yum...

you get feel with a cable, hydraulic is crap, you have to mess about when refitting, it can leak, its hydroscopic......blecgh
